借助 FDT 1.2 Communication DTM, DF PROFI – 結合任意一個(gè) FDT 1.2-功能強大的容器程序 – 能夠用于任意一個(gè)PROFIBUS DP Slave 的配置。許多過(guò)程控制系統都包含容器程序。它們也可以作為獨立的使用工具，如Pactware Association 的Pactware 。

這個(gè) DF PROFI 系列通過(guò)層級2，7和DP可以訪(fǎng)問(wèn)profibus，并可以作為Master, Slave或者組合主機，借助EN50170數據傳輸率可高達1.5 Mbit/s 。數據交換可以通過(guò)設備驅動(dòng)程序接口實(shí)現，所有支持的協(xié)議變換都是可裝載固件的一部分。該板可作為PCI板使用。對于PROFIBUS DP/DPV1來(lái)說(shuō)，該板是由COMSOFT OPC Server 和FDT 1.2 Communication DTM支持的。
